Under the Governments ECO4 FLEX Scheme, it is estimated that at least 3.5m homes in the UK will now qualify for a boiler replacement or first time central heating system grant regardless of whether you are an Owner, Landlord or Tenant.


Now the grant has moved to ECO4 FLEX, pretty much anyone can apply if you have an old boiler.

This offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis to homeowners, landlords and tenants with inefficient boilers (<86.6% efficiency rating) installed before 2005.  

Why Is It Free?
Under the 'Energy Companies Obligation' (ECO Scheme) we can offer free upgrades for homes that are eligible. When you pay your energy bills 7% to 13% of that bill contributes towards environmental and social obligation costs - these costs pay towards the ECO scheme.

With the increasing costs that consumers are facing to heat their properties, OFGEM has decided to extend ECO, introducing 'ECO4 Flex', to help reduce energy bills for those in the least energy efficient houses around the country.

It is OFGEM's aim to improve the energy efficiency of homes significantly, shifting to a whole-house approach to make each property worked on as energy efficient as possible.

Who Can Apply?

NHS Referral
For health conditions related to Limited Mobility / Cardiovascular / Respiratory / Immunosuppressed

This could be High Blood Pressure, Asthma, COPD, Cancer, Diabetes, Artists, etc

OR..

Low Income
Where the household earns less than £31,000 (after tax) in total

OR..

Qualifying Benefits
Where someone in the household is in receipt of means-tested benefits. This could be Pension Credits, Tax Credits, Universal Credits, child benefits, PIP, Warm Home Discount (Core Group)

Where is the Funding Coming From?

The funding comes from all the big six major energy companies who have a Government obligation to reduce their carbon emissions throughout the UK.

How it works..

 - Here we will ask you to send proof of the boiler
 
2) Once we know the boiler qualifies we will ask you send:
 
  • Proof of Address
  • Eligibility Evidence: Anything from medication proof or benefits 
  • Identity Verification: A clear photo of the homeowner's ID.

3) Once confirmed we will phone you up to organize a date for the survey!

4) You will get sent the money once the survey has been completed.
 - Simply let us know what bank account you want it to be sent to through your preferred contact method.

You will receive an A rated boiler fully funded but if you want a particular type we have different options available if you prefer to get the top of the range boiler you can always enquire. All you have to do is make a small (£100 - £200) contribution.
